Terminology and language
LWP provide advice to support policy development, event planning and communications about the LGBTQIA+ community. We typically review drafted surf club documents, posters or social media posts to ensure language and terminology is consistent and accurate.
-
Visible diversity and inclusion
LWP provide advice on new ideas and strategies that surf clubs are contemplating or attempting – supporting them to consider various options, manage risks, and how to enhance ‘buy in’ from club members.
-
Connecting to LGBTQIA+ groups
LWP often connect surf clubs with local LGBTQIA+ groups and organisations. We also connect surf club members with the appropriate personal if they are seeking support following an incident.
